I am Michael René Sell, a notation artist, composer, and storyteller of the unseen. I take silent processes, fleeting moments, and abstract states—and turn them into music, movement, and visual art. Through my own systems of symbols, signs, and notations, I create unique mythologies that invite audiences into worlds of sound and imagination.

Since 2024, I have been building my own planet: Planet 173. It is inhabited by 173 creatures inspired by my own traits, taken to their extremes. On this planet, I experiment freely, blending music, dance, storytelling, and visual art into immersive performances and thematic installations.

My exhibitions span the globe, offering audiences the chance to experience my work in person, discover their favorite notations, and take home a piece of my ever-evolving artistic universe.
